Abbey Lodge, Fleetwood

Updated: Jan 27, 2023

Safe As Houses are delighted to present this development in Fleetwood, Lancashire.

We are working on conversion of this former 20 bed care home into 13 x 1 bed apartments with additional staff rooms. Local Authorities, Commissioners and The NHS have placed independent living as a key target for service users and residents.

This project is a great example of one which promotes independent living in the Care sector.

The property is a two-storey 668 m2, building with basement. Abbey Lodge was originally constructed circa 1930 with the property being extended circa 2000. The adjacent properties are a car centre to the south east of the property and a residential semi-detached property to the north east. Residential properties are located to the rear of the property. Vehicle access is provided to the front of the property, with a car park present to the rear. A grassed lawn is present to the front of the property.

As with all our projects, Safe As Houses will work in a collaborative approach with all involved parties to better the provision of care and housing in the area.
